Forrest Card grew up in the Navy town of Bremerton, Washington. Raised on a steady diet of sugary cereals and Saturday morning cartoons, he spent most of his days drawing cartoons on the floor in front of the TV. This left him with two options: stay and join the navy, or strike out on his own and become a cartoonist. Not being able to meet the minimum pull up requirements for the Navy he was left with the latter option.
Forrest packed his bags and headed straight to Southern California to attend The Art Center College of Design where he earned a BFA in Illustration.
Forrest’s early career brought him to Disney Consumer Products. This started him on a career of creating character art for the apparel industry. Forrest has been fortunate enough to draw artwork for Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars and was commissioned to created original character designs for Gwen Steffani’s Harajuku Lovers.
He is currently working for Mighty Fine Inc creating funny and ironic t-shirt designs for the men’s apparel market.
These days, Forrest can usually be found on the floor of his studio apartment drawing original cartoons in front of his much bigger TV with a fully stocked pantry of only the finest sugary cereals.
